Stitt Manufacturing, with over 50 years of experience, produces fully customized rifles, trap, and sporting clays stocks and specialty hardware and gun parts including quarter ribs, banded front sights, scope mounts and rings. My machine shop is equipped with a 4 axis CNC milling machine, manual lathe, and ancillary metal working machines designed to produce complete barreled actions, hardware and stock fittings. The center piece of my stock making operation is a purpose build, multi-axis, single spindle gunstock duplicator. It has a 53 inch long by 14 inch diameter capacity, powered by a 400VAC, 4KW, CNC router motor, and Variable Frequency Drive. It is an up sized, improved version of my first duplicator that was supplied by Don Allen of Dakota Arms in the 1980’s I can provide long and short bolt actions with our custom bottom metal, with bolt faces ranging from .384” to .585” (.223 through .470 Nitro Express). I can also work with your action or firearm, with some specific exceptions, too. I can handle everything from concept to design to final assembly in house.
